Abstract

Lamanggau Village is one of the villages in the East Tomia District, Wakatobi Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province. The people of Lamanggau Village do not know about other economic potentials that can be obtained from processing and packaging fish products. It is necessary to provide training in the form of processing and packaging of fish caught products. One of them is by processing fish into shredded fish. It needs a visual identity of the processed fish product, so that the product can be recognized where it came from. The label also contains information on the nutrition and ingredients of processed fish products. Based on this background, the empowerment provided to the community in Lamanggau Village, East Tomia District, Wakatobi Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province includes training in making shredded fish and making packaging labels. The purpose of this empowerment is not only to make food more durable, but also to provide a visual identity for processed food products in Lamanggau Village.
