Abstract

This Community Service Program (PkM) aims to optimize the potential of local fish through innovation in processed products based on local resources in Mola Village, Wangi-Wangi District, Wakatobi Regency, Southeast Sulawesi. The method used is a participatory approach consisting of socialization, training, mentoring, and evaluation stages. The training focuses on processing local fish into value-added products such as shredded fish, fish crackers, and fish nuggets, as well as improving packaging and product labeling quality. The results indicate an increase in community knowledge and skills in processing fish into more diverse and economically valuable products. In addition, the formation of community business groups supports the sustainability of the program. This activity has a positive impact on increasing income and economic independence of coastal communities through the optimal and sustainable utilization of local potential.
