Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic economic principles in financial management and their implications for fair, transparent, and sustainable financial governance. The main principles examined include tawhid, justice (‘adl), trustworthiness, the prohibition of riba, gharar, and maysir, as well as the orientation toward public benefit and holistic prosperity. This research employs a qualitative approach using a library research method through the analysis of relevant books, national and international journal articles, and regulatory frameworks related to Islamic finance. The findings indicate that the implementation of Islamic economic principles in financial management is reflected in transp arent budgeting systems, profit-and-loss sharing–based investment mechanisms, Sharia-compliant risk management, and ethical and accountable financial reporting. Furthermore, the application of Sharia principles enhances stakeholder trust, strengthens financial stabil ity, & promotes organizational sustainability. Financial management based on Islamic economics is not solely profit-oriented but also emphasizes moral & social responsibility.
