This study aims to analyze the role of the government in integrating Islamic economics into national economic development. Islamic economics, as a value-based economic system rooted in Islamic principles, has strategic potential to promote inclusive, equitable, and sustainable growth. The government plays a crucial role in formulating regulations, fiscal and monetary policies, strengthening institutional frameworks, and developing the halal industry and Islamic financial ecosystem. This research employs a qualitative approach using a library research method by analyzing policy documents, legal frameworks, and relevant academic literature. The findings indicate that the integration of Islamic economics into national development can be achieved through regulatory strengthening, optimization of Islamic financial instruments such as zakat, waqf, and sukuk, and synergy between government institutions and the private sector. Furthermore, government support in developing human resources and enhancing Islamic economic literacy is essential to increase the sector’s contribution to Gross Domestic Product (GDP). With an integrated strategy, Islamic economics has the potential to become a key pillar in realizing equitable and sustainable national economic development.
