Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Local Original Income (PAD), Number of Hotels, Number of Population, Number of Tourists on the Human Development Index (HDI) of Regencies in Central Java Province during 2015-2023. This study uses a quantitative data type method. The data used in this study are panel data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Central Java Province in published figures. The existing data were analyzed using the Linear regression research method using the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) method, the usual assumption tests are testing normality, autocorrelation, heteroscedasticity, and multicollinearity, then continued with the T-test and F-test hypothesis tests. The results of the study indicate that Local Original Income (PAD) does not have a significant effect on the Human Development Index (HDI), the number of hotels has a significant effect on the Human Development Index (HDI), the number of residents has a significant effect on the Human Development Index (HDI), the number of tourists does not have a significant effect on (HDI).
